Hey gang!

Here’s a gentle reminder that iconoclastic supergenius SAM KIETH—whose work you may know from The MaxxThe HollowsSandmanAliensBatman, and many more beloved titles—is having a big signing and reception at the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco this Saturday, April 27th!

In addition to viewing a wealth of Sam’s original art, you can also meet the man himself and pick up SAM KIETH: SAMPLINGS AND DABBLINGS, a brand new book featuring a career retrospective and a massive interview!

More details can be found HERE, so don’t miss it!

It’s a good day for advances!  Here’s Editor-in-Chief Chris Ryall with fresh copies of TMNT: THE WORKS VOL.1 and our 500+ page collection of STAR TREK by JOHN BYRNE!

Hey gang!  Our Editor-in-Chief/All-Around Swell Dude Chris Ryall was kind enough to let me take some photos of an advance copy of Ashley Wood’s EXTREME FINALE, an 800-page slipcased monster of a tome crushing store shelves next week!

This is but a small taste, of course, so expect to see more very soon and make sure not to miss this one when it hits stores!

Check out Ryall’s Tumblr, too,  He’s been posting up a storm of unceasing radness as of late and it is not to be snoozed on!

Check it out!  An awesome Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan posted some spy photos of the unboxing of their ultra-deluxe Blue Label edition of TMNT: CHANGE IS CONSTANT from IDW Limited on the mighty Technodrome forums!

Reactions to the advance copies that showed up today were varied, but it’s safe to say we’re all pretty darn excited.

It’s Ash Wednesday, so we here at IDW would like to take the opportunity to look back on some of our favorite work by the fantastic Ash Wood!

On this particularly hallowed day, we’ve chosen to focus on Ash’s work with the wildly creative and popular METAL GEAR SOLID franchise.  All of the pages here can be found in IDW’s Metal Gear Solid Omnibus, available from fine retailers all over the place.

Big ups to Kris Oprisko, Matt Fraction, and Alex Garner for writing the books in this series and of course, Hideo Kojima, Yoji Shinkawa, Kojima Productions, and Konami for creating the world they take place inside!
